Noussair Mazraoui believes Manchester United will bounce back but the process will take time. He said the players would need to adapt to Ruben Amorim's system and fans got to be patient.
The defender thinks the Red Devils are too big not be winning and is confident that they will be eventually return to the top. He added that everyone at the club was confident of a comeback and said (via GOAL):
"I came here to win - and it will come. Man United is too big not to. Everyone here knows that, everybody sees that and everybody feels that - especially us as players. We are going to come back - and we are going to come back even harder. But I think that when you want to implement a new style of play that isn’t even close to how we played before, no-one can expect us to understand everything the manager has in his mind right from the start.
"So yes, of course, this is going to be a tough time - but come on, we are all top players and we play the game to win. Eventually we will get to wherever the coach wants us to be. We have unbelievable players, so of course we can adapt - and I think we are showing that. We have to get used to the new style, but I don’t think it will take too long - even if at the moment it is tough."
Manchester United beat Everton 4-0 in their most recent Premier League game. Marcus Rashford and Joshua Zirkzee scored a brace each as the Red Devils got back to winning ways in the league.
Ruben Amorim opens up on his system at Manchester United
Ruben Amorim admitted that players still needed time to adapt to his system at Manchester United. He added that the fixture schedule has complicated things a bit for him as he cannot have fresh legs for every game.
He said (via Manchester Evening News):
"It is impossible to cope with all the games with the same team. We have to be ready, we are changing the way we are playing and everybody has to play and has to train. It is impossible in three days to recover all of the players. We played a different game against Bodo/Glimt, we pressed a lot, some players were tired, so I clearly prefer to have fresh legs."
Manchester United hired Amorin after sacking Erik ten Hag in October.
