Manchester United ready to sell Marcus Rashford in winter transfer window: Reports
Ruben Amorim's Manchester United are ready to sell English forward Marcus Rashford in the upcoming winter transfer window, as per Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg. Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho have also been left out of the squad for the Manchester derby by the Portuguese tactician.
Marcus Rashford is a Manchester United academy product and has been with the club since 2005. He made his senior debut for the side in 2016 and has since made 426 appearances for the side, bagging 138 goals and 63 assists across all competitions. However, his time at Old Trafford could be nearing an end.
As per the aforementioned report, the Red Devils are ready to sell Rashford. After Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro, Rashford is the highest-paid player in the Red Devils' squad, earning £350,000 a week.
Selling Rashford would give United a financial boost as they look to recruit players to fit Amorim's plans. He signed a contract extension with the Red Devils in July 2023 and his ongoing deal will expire in the summer of 2028.
