Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund are reportedly considering entering into a race with Chelsea to sign Gabriel Mec. The 16-year-old forward is currently playing for Grêmio FB Porto Alegrense Under 20 in Brazil.
The Blues have reportedly already made an offer for Gabriel Mec while the Red Devils and BVB have recently made enquiries about the deal conditions (as per @mufcMPB on X).
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported on August 1 that Gabriel Mec has agreed to a move to Stamford Bridge, following which the clubs are negotiating. The midfielder is reportedly interested in joining Chelsea, who are preparing a €20 million bid for him, structured as €7m upfront with an additional €13m in performance-related add-ons, according to Brazilian media outlet Radio Bandeirantes.
Reports also suggest that Gremio might retain a 15% stake in Gabriel Mec's future transfer rights.
Gabriel Mec, who is yet to make his first-team debut for Gremio, has already pulled off impressive performances in the Brazilian Under-20 Championship, netting one goal in six appearances. If he signs for the Blues, the youngster will not be able to join the club before he turns 18 due to the international transfer regulations for minors.
Chelsea and Manchester United reportedly keen on signing Real Madrid star
Chelsea and Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Real Madrid defender Joan Martinez Lozano this summer. The 16-year-old, who is yet to make his senior debut, has attracted interest from several clubs across Europe.
Martinez joined Real Madrid's youth system from Levante Youth last summer and made five appearances for the Spanish giants' U19 side last season. His impressive performances caught the attention of Chelsea and Manchester United, as per Fichajes.net.
The two clubs are keeping tabs on the Spaniard for a potential transfer. However, the move to either is unlikely to happen as the young talent wants to succeed at Real Madrid. He reportedly rejected multiple clubs like Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, and Valencia last summer to move to the Santiago Bernabeu.
