TEAMTalk reports that Manchester United have been made aware of what it will cost them to sign Norwegian youngster Sverre Nypan, who is on their radar. The Red Devils have their sights set on the 18-year-old Rosenborg youngster, considered a generational talent in his country.
Nypan caught the eyes of the Manchester United scouts when he represented Rosenborg against the Red Devils in pre-season. The youngster held his own in midfield despite being faced by the likes of Mason Mount and Casemiro in Erik ten Hag's side, helping his team win 1-0.
Manchester United have remained interested in the Norwegian youngster and are seriously considering making an offer to sign him for Ruben Amorim's side. The club are now aware that the youngster has a release clause in the region of £15 million in his Rosenborg contract.
Sverre Nypan has been impressive since making his senior debut for Rosenborg in 2022 aged 15. He holds the record for being the youngest player to appear in the Norwegian Eliteserien, as well as his club's youngest-ever player. The teenager is also the youngest goalscorer for his club, and contributed eight goals and seven assists in 28 appearances in the 2024 season.
Manchester United have begun to focus on recruiting some of the finest young players around since the arrival of the INEOS Group. The Red Devils recruited Chido Obi-Martin and Sekou Kone in the summer, and are reportedly closing in on the addition of Paraguayan teenager Diego Leon, as well. They have also been linked with English teenager Chris Rigg, who is making waves at Sunderland.

Manchester United are considering a move to sign Real Sociedad midfielder Luka Sucic to strengthen their midfield, as per a report from Fichajes.net. The 22-year-old Croatia international has come to the notice of the Red Devils after his stellar displays for the Spanish side.
Sucic joined Real Sociedad from RB Salzburg in the summer for a reported €10 million and has gone on to make 17 appearances for the side this season. The midfielder has impressed with his technical level, vision, and composure in midfield, leading to interest in him from the Red Devils.
Ruben Amorim's side may look to test the resolve of La Real with a bid of €40 million for the young midfielder in January. The Premier League side are keen on adding quality young players to their midfield, as they look to replace the aging duo of Casemiro and Christian Eriksen.
