Manchester United, Liverpool, and Newcastle United are currently monitoring Barcelona's Marc Casado, according to Caught Offside (via Team Talk). The 21-year-old Spaniard operates as a defensive midfielder and has caught the eye with his impressive performance this season.
Under Hansi Flick's management, Casado has cemented his place in Barcelona's starting XI, which has put him on the radar of some top European clubs. A product of Barcelona's famed La Masia academy, Casado has registered five assists in 13 appearances for the club this season.
The report claims that Manchester United, Liverpool and Newcastle United scouts have all returned positive reports about Casado.
Manchester United might be looking to introduce some fresh ideas in their midfield once Ruben Aromim takes charge. Casado might also be seen as a potential replacement for Christian Eriksen, whose current contract will expire next summer.
Since the departure of Fabinho, the Liverpool hierarchy has been looking to bolster their midfield. Last summer, they failed in their attempt to sign Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad and Casado could be an alternative.
Newcastle United are also reportedly looking to add some depth and creativity in midfield. Hence, their growing interest in signing Casado next summer.
Although Casado's current market value is around €15 million, according to Transfermarkt, La Blaugrana will certainly value the talented midfielder much higher. His contract with the LaLiga giants is valid until 2028.
Manchester United's hierarchy are interested in signing Jamal Musiala from Bayern Munich - Reports
The Red Devils are interested in signing Jamal Musiala from Bayern Munich, according to Fichajes.net. The German international has had an outstanding start to the season, scoring seven goals and providing four assists in 12 appearances for Bayern.
Musiala's ability to score goals and create chances could provide the missing spark in United's attack, which has struggled this season. Manchester United have scored just nine goals in 10 Premier League games this season, the third-worst tally in the league.
With his contract set to expire in June 2026, Bayern Munich might be tempted to sell Musiala next summer if he fails to sign a contract extension.
