Leny Yoro joined Manchester United over Real Madrid from Ligue 1 side LOSC Lille earlier in the summer. He was reportedly offered €9.5 million by the Red Devils, which was 475% more than Los Blancos' €2 million offer.

The 18-year-old completed his move to United in July. Erik ten Hag's side will pay a reported transfer fee of €62 million to the Frenchman, alongside a further €8 million in add-ons.

As per multiple reports, the French defender was keen to join Real Madrid. However, Los Blancos weren't interested in offering €70 million for the Frenchman, like the Red Devils.

As per football journalist Jose Felix Diaz, Carlo Ancelotti's Real Madrid offered €2 million in wages to the French defender, while United had an offer of €9.5 million.

Yoro suffered a foot injury in the first half during United's 2-1 defeat to Arsenal during the pre-season tour. The teenager underwent a surgical procedure for the issue in August and he's expected to make his return in November.

Before Manchester United's league opener against Fulham, he was seen walking on crutches. However, the Frenchman has started his recovery process at Carrington. He's also working with United's physio team to return to full fitness. The Red Devils are 14th in the Premier League with three points in three matches.

Jamal Musiala confirms Manchester United forward tried convincing him to join the Red Devils

German midfielder Jamal Musiala has claimed Dutch forward Joshua Zirkzee tried to convince him to join Manchester United from Bayern Munich this summer.

Zirkzee joined United from Bologna for a reported transfer fee of £36 million earlier in the summer. As per the Mirror, he told a fan that he tried to persuade Musiala to join the Red Devils.

The two shared the dressing room at Bayern Munich and went on a holiday to Los Angeles together following the 2024 European Championship. During an interview with German newspaper Welt am Sonntag, Musiala confirmed that Zirkzee tried to persuade him to join the Premier League giants.

"You always joke around with friends and dream of playing together in a team one day. The jokes go both ways: I also told Josh that he should come back to Bayern. But you shouldn't take that too seriously," he said.
