Manchester United Premier League 2024/25 fixtures: Full schedule and dates as Red Devils gear up for new campaign under Erik ten Hag

Manchester United's fixture schedule for the 2024/25 Premier League campaign has been released. The Red Devils have continued to show faith in manager Erik ten Hag and are gearing up to enter a new campaign under the guidance of the Dutchman.

United are set to host Fulham at Old Trafford in their season opener on Friday, August 16. It will also be the opening game of the 2024/25 EPL season, with the majority of Matchday 1 fixtures set to take place on August 17 and later.

The Red Devils' first big matchup will be against archrivals Liverpool, who are also entering a new era under Dutch manager Arne Slot, on August 31. Ten Hag's side also take on city rivals Manchester City away at the Etihad (December 14) in the first half of the season.

Club captain Bruno Fernandes, young striker Rasmus Hojlund and rising starlet Kobbie Mainoo will be expected to play starring roles in United's 2024/25 campaign.

Despite the presence of superstars and wonderkids in the squad, ten Hag and new owners Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS will have to show great activity in the upcoming transfer window.

With a mass exodus of defenders expected in the summer, Manchester United will definitely be in the market for a new centre-back. Bayern Munich's Matthijs de Ligt, Nice's Jean-Clair Todibo and Bayer Leverkusen's Edmond Tapsoba among others have been linked with a move to Old Trafford.

The attack will also need some strengthening, with the likes of Bologna's Joshua Zirkzee, Brentford's Ivan Toney and Lille's Jonathan David reportedly on United's shortlist.

After their triumph in the 2023-24 FA Cup final, Manchester United and Erik ten Hag will be brimming with confidence as they enter the 2024-25 Premier League campaign.
