According to Manchester Evening News, Manchester United are set to offer rising forward Amad Diallo a new long-term contract. The Ivory Coast international is now in the final year of his contract at Old Trafford, with his deal set to expire next summer (June 2025). But Manchester United have the option to tie him down for one additional year, which would see him remain at the club in 2026.

Diallo started in three of Manchester United’s first four Premier League games of the 2024-25 campaign and has been an important player in Erik ten Hag’s squad. His outstanding performances saw him named the club’s Best Player for the Month of August.

With Amad Diallo being in the last year of his contractual stay at United, the club are reportedly poised to trigger his automatic one-year extension, which will prevent him from leaving the club on a free transfer.

Adding to the intrigue, the 22-year-old is also interested in continuing his playing career at Old Trafford. When he was quizzed in the preseason tour on if he would like to extend his stay at Manchester United, he said via (Manchester Evening News):

"Yeah, why not?". "I'm very happy here. I think everyone is happy with me because I smile with everyone, good energy. Why not stay here all my life?"

Amad Diallo’s current market value is €18 million as per Transfermarkt. He joined Manchester United from Italian side Atalanta in 2021 in a deal worth €37.2 million. However, he hasn’t been able to get enough playing time since his arrival at the club, having been loaned to Rangers and Sunderland between 2022 and 2023. He has scored four goals and provided two assists in his 26 appearances for the Red Devils across competitions.

Adrien Rabiot agrees Marseille deal after links to Manchester United – Reports

France midfielder Adrien Rabiot has reportedly agreed to join Marseille amid links to joining Manchester United. The 29-year-old is currently without a club after his contract with Juventus expired at the end of last season.

According to Evening Standard, Adrien Rabiot has agreed a deal to join Marseille despite being strongly linked with a move to the Premier League this summer. The France international is set to become Marseille’s latest signing, as the possibility of the move only hinges on him passing the club’s medicals.

As per the above-mentioned source, the Ligue 1 club released a statement on the situation of their links with Rabiot, saying:

''Olympique de Marseille announces that it has reached an agreement in principle with Adrien Rabiot for the arrival of the French international midfielder at the club. The player will sign with OM subject to the results of the medical examination."

Having signed Manuel Ugarte from Paris Saint-Germain, it is unlikely that United will still be interested in Rabiot.
