Manchester United outcast Marcus Rashford will likely join Lionel Messi in the MLS if he makes his intention of moving to the USA known, as per reports. The star English forward appears to be out of head coach Ruben Amorim's plans at Old Trafford, leading to speculation about his exit from the club.

A report from GiveMeSport has shown that a number of MLS sides are circling for an opportunity to sign Rashford from Manchester United. The clubs are waiting to receive a green light from the forward on his willingness to leave Europe before making any definitive moves for him, as per the report.

Marcus Rashford scored the first goal of Ruben Amorim's reign seconds into his first game at Ipswich Town and was tipped to play a huge role for the Portuguese tactician. The 27-year-old has, however, not appeared in any of the side's last five games. He was first left out of the squad for the Manchester derby on December 15.

He was recalled for the game against Newcastle United on December 30, as the squad was missing several players. However, he did not make it off the bench in the defeat.

The star forward revealed in an interview shortly after the Manchester City game that he is ready for a new challenge, and may well be on his way out of the club.

Manchester United open to selling Lionel Messi's teammate in January window - Reports

Manchester United have reportedly indicated their readiness to sanction a move away from the club for Alejandro Garnacho who plays alongside Lionel Messi for Argentina. The Red Devils find themselves in a position where they have to sell players to be able to bring in new ones to strengthen their squad in January.

Garnacho was the subject of an offer from Atletico Madrid in December, which the club did not immediately turn down. The 20-year-old is considered expendable by the club, as per Daily Mail, and they will be willing to sell him for a suitable bid.

Garnacho was dropped for the Manchester City game on December 15 but was added to the squad afterwards. The young forward has scored eight goals this season and is attracting interest from several sides across Europe.
