Frank Lampard has knocked Chelsea for not picking up all three points in their Premier League clash against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday, November 3. The two sides settled for a point apiece after playing out a 1-1 draw, with the Blues entering the top four with the point.
Chelsea have been impressive since the start of the 2024-25 season under Enzo Maresca in stark contrast to Manchester United's start to the campaign. The Red Devils started the day in 13th place in the league, with manager Erik ten Hag having been sacked following a defeat at West Ham United last week.
Ruud van Nistelrooy was in interim charge for the game against the Blues as he sought to help the side move up the table.
Maresca's side were surprisingly tepid in the game against the Red Devils, who managed the threat of their potent frontline very well. Watching on from the Sky Sports studio, former manager Frank Lampard was convinced that the Blues could have won the game. He labelled the Red Devils as the worst team at pressing in the league.

Chelsea were far from their best in the game against Manchester United. The Blues only created one big chance, compared to four from their hosts, generating a 1.53 xG value as against 1.96 from the Red Devils.
The result at Old Trafford means that Chelsea have still not won a game on the ground since 2013. They failed to follow up their dramatic 4-3 win at Stamford Bridge last season with another win against the Red Devils.
Moises Caicedo nets stunner to help Chelsea steal point against Manchester United
The Premier League's most expensive player ever, Moises Caicedo, was on the scoresheet for Chelsea as they played out a 1-1 draw against Manchester United. The Ecuador international scored his first goal of the campaign to help his side avoid successive away defeats.
Fans had to wait until the 70th minute to see a goal in the game, as Red Devils captain Bruno Fernandes scored his first league goal of the season. The midfielder scored from the spot after Rasmus Hojlund had been fouled by Robert Sanchez.
The away side needed just four minutes to silence the Old Trafford crowd and they did it in style, with Caicedo ripping home a volley from the edge of the box. Both sides tried but ultimately failed to find a winner in the game, picking up a point apiece.
