Manchester United ace Marcus Rashford's representatives have traveled to Milan to hold talks with Serie A giants AC Milan over a loan move, as per The Athletic. The forward has been frozen out by head coach Ruben Amorim at Old Trafford for nearly a month, and is apparently looking for a new challenge.
Rashford's brother and agent Dwaine Maynard recently spoke with the recruitment staff at AC Milan to discuss the possibility of a transfer this month. The major decision-makers of Serie A side such as Zlatan Ibrahimovic were not in Milan, as they attended the Italian Super Cup final on Monday (January 6).
Manchester United are resigned to the idea that Marcus Rashford will not attract offers for a permanent exit this month, with the 27-year-old having rejected a move to the Saudi Pro League. The Red Devils are prepared to sanction a loan move for the Englishman, with several sides interested in him.
AC Milan are looking to strengthen their ranks for the second half of the season, but talks with Rashford remain at a preliminary stage. His representatives will also fly to Germany to meet with Borussia Dortmund executives, while several other sides, including Juventus, have indicated their interest.
Marcus Rashford has not featured in any of the Manchester United games since starting against Viktoria Plzen on December 12. The forward was not in the squad for games against Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur, Bournemouth, Wolves, and Liverpool. He was on the bench against Newcastle United but was not called on by Amorim.
Reviewing Marcus Rashford's legacy at Manchester United

Rashford broke through the youth system at Manchester United, scoring a brace on his professional debut in February 2016. Days later, he again scored a brace on his Premier League debut against Arsenal and went on to score against Manchester City in the same season.
Marcus Rashford has appeared 426 times for the Red Devils since making his debut for the club under Louis van Gaal. He has scored 138 times and provided 63 assists, winning six trophies at the club, most recently the FA Cup under Erik ten Hag in the 2023-24 season.
