“My boy is so big” - Elma Aveiro hypes up Cristiano Ronaldo Jr as Al-Nassr training images surface 

Cristiano Ronaldo's sister Elma Aveiro reacted as images of Cristiano Ronaldo Jr taking part in Al-Nassr's training surfaced. Ronaldo Jr, who has previously represented the youth academies of Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus, has now joined the Saudi Pro League side's academy.

Ronaldo made a move to the SPL side as a free agent. He made his debut in January and has since scored 13 goals and has provided three assists for the club.

His son, Ronaldo Jr, has also started training with the club's youth academy. Elma Aveiro was elated to see his nephew in action as he wrote:

"My boy's so big. aunt's love."

Cristiano Ronaldo Jr is the five-time Ballon d'Or winner's eldest son. He was born on June 17, 2010. He can often be seen training with his father. Given the youth academies that he has already played for, needless to mention, Ronaldo Jr has been under good guidance.

In an awards ceremony in 2020, Cristiano Ronaldo was asked about his son's chances of becoming a top footballer. Ronaldo Jr has often grabbed the headlines for his performances at the youth level.

The Portuguese superstar was asked about the chances of his son reaching the top like him. Ronaldo claimed that Ronaldo Jr is not yet a complete professional (via GiveMeSport):

“Not yet. I’m hard with him sometimes because he drinks Coca-Cola and Fanta sometimes and I’m p***ed with him. I fight with him when he eats chips and fries and everything. He knows I don’t like it. Even my small kids, when they eat chocolate, they always look to me and, you know, we have to be strong.”

However, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner recognized that his son has the potential to reach the top of the game.

“But to be honest, he has potential. He is a big boy, he’s fast, and he’s driven well. But this [is] nothing, I tell him every time. It takes a lot of dedication, a lot of hard work. Sometimes when we’re at home, I say ‘Go to the treadmill to run a bit’, and after the treadmill I say, ‘Now go to the cold water to recover to do it tomorrow again', and it’s ‘Daddy, it’s so cold, the water, I don’t want to do it'. But I understand it, he’s only 10 years old, it’s up to him.”

Reaching Cristiano Ronaldo's level is a burden of expectation for any footballer, certainly for his son. Fans, though, would love to see the legendary player's legacy carried on through him.
