Manchester City star Bernardo Silva's partner, Ines Degener Tomaz, has shared a number of pictures on her social media following Silva's third successive Premier League triumph on Sunday (May 21).
The Cityzens clinched the 2022-23 Premier League title after beating Chelsea 1-0 at the Etihad Stadium this weekend. Julian Alvarez scored the decisive goal in the 12th minute as a second-string team outwitted the Blues.
Tomaz, who has been married to Silva since last year, took to Instagram to share a host of images from Manchester City's title celebrations at the end of their contest. She posted a picture of the couple, captioning the image:
"My champion ❤️"
Tomaz also re-shared her sister's Instagram story with the pair holding the Premier League trophy. The caption read:
"Beautiful 🏆"
Tomaz, who has amassed 139k followers on her Instagram account, shared a final image with Silva, captioning:
"Even more special this year 🤍"
Silva, 28, has been in fine form for Pep Guardiola's side in the ongoing season. He has scored seven goals and laid out as many assists in 3339 minutes of first-team action, spread across 52 matches across all competitions.
Meanwhile, Manchester City are hoping to lift a treble this season. They are set to face Inter Milan in the UEFA Champions League final on June 10 after facing rivals Manchester United in the FA Cup summit clash on June 3.
PSG boss comments on links with Manchester City star Bernardo Silva
During a pre-match press conference, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) boss Christophe Galtier was asked to shed light on his side's reported pursuit of Bernardo Silva. He lauded the 80-cap Portugal international, elaborating:
"First of all, Bernardo Silva is a Manchester City player. I think many of you have seen his last game [against Real Madrid], where he was very good. I discovered him when he arrived at Monaco when Luis Campos recruited him. He was very good, he was part of the champion team of Monaco. He is obviously an interesting player."
Silva, who has a deal until June 2025 at the Etihad Stadium, has been speculated to depart City since last summer. He was heavily linked with a permanent move to Barcelona, but a potential deal failed to materialize in the end.
Prior to his £45 million switch from Monaco to Manchester City in 2017, he earned his name in France. He helped his former club lift the 2016-17 Ligue 1 title, scoring eight goals and providing 11 assists in 37 league matches.
