Arsenal have gone to the USA for their pre-season tour, where they will face Bournemouth, Manchester United, and Liverpool. They will then face Bayer Leverkusen and Lyon, before starting the Premier League season against Wolves.

Ahead of their friendlies in the USA, Gabriel Jesus partook in training drills, which the Gunners shared on their Instagram:

Neymar took to the comment section, reacting to his Brazilian teammate's quality on the ball with two fire emojis:

Jesus will be hoping to feature consistently in the upcoming season after struggling to find regular form last term. The former Palmeiras forward scored just four goals and provided just five assists in 27 Premier League games. This is a clear drop from his debut season at the Emirates, when he had 17 goal contributions in 26 league games.

Neymar could be ready for match action soon, Flamengo president claims

Flamengo boss Rodolfo Landim has opened up about when Neymar could return to the field following a debilitating injury that has kept him out for nearly a year. The winger played his last match in October 2023, damaging his knee ligaments and getting placed on the sidelines indefinitely.

However, he looks closer and closer to a return, according to Rodolfo Landim, who discussed the winger on the Charla Podcast. The Flamengo president spoke about potentially signing the superstar, stating (via GOAL):

“I walk down the street and people ask me when I'm going to sign Neymar. And I say: ‘Guys, he earns more per month than two Flamengo salaries. People don't realise the magnitude of things, the amounts involved. The unofficial information is that he earns 70 million per month."

About the forward's injuries, Landim added:

"We have to see how he recovers, but I think he'll recover well because he's a light player. I met him in the locker room and said that he thinks he'll be back in full condition by mid-September.”

The Brazilian winger will certainly be hoping he can be in full swing by that period and playing for Al-Hilal, where he moved to in the summer of 2023.
