England fans on X have blasted Real Madrid superstar Jude Bellingham after he failed to make an impact in their 1-1 draw against Denmark at Euro 2024 (June 20). The Three Lions failed to make it two wins on the bounce following their 1-0 win against Serbia, however, are still at the top of Group C with four points from two games.
Harry Kane gave England the lead in the 18th minute with their first real effort at goal. The Bayern Munich superstar tapped home from close range from Kyle Walker's cross.
However, the Three Lions opted to sit back following their breakthrough, allowing the Danes to get back into the game. They leveled the scores in the 34th minute through Morten Hjulmand's long-range screamer.
Denmark looked the more dangerous side after their equalizer, but England nearly retook the lead in the 56th minute when Phil Foden's effort struck the post. Ollie Watkins was guilty of missing a tight one-on-one chance late in the second half, resulting in Gareth Southgate's side dropping two points.
Jude Bellingham played the full 90 minutes for England but struggled to integrate himself into the game. The Real Madrid ace was unable to replicate his club form as he completed zero crosses, lost 10 duels, and landed zero shots on goal.
One fan posted:
"This guy is truly a system player and overrated."
Another fan said:
"Hate to say it but Bellingham was our worst player today."

"The Madrid PR will have you believe he’s the second coming of Christ," one fan stated.
"These players are playing under Pep and Carlo and then go player under “Southgate” and they seem to forget how to play!!" one fan pointed out.
"Not gonna lie. He's been shambolic today," one fan wrote.
"Was clear early on he wasn't at it. Should have took him and trent off for Gordon and Gallagher and moved Foden in to the 10 position. Why Gordon and palmer aren't getting minutes is beyond me," another posted.
"I’m sorry, but Jude Bellingham winning the Ballon D’or would be the biggest stain on the sport, and completely ruin its credibility," one fan chimed in.
"'Best player in the world Bellingham', he's just a Scott Mctominay with some special moments," another posted.
How did England fare in their 1-1 draw against Denmark at Euro 2024?
England were thoroughly underwhelming in their second game in a row as they dropped two points against Denmark. Despite being billed as one of the favorites to win Euro 2024, Southgate's side will need to go back to the basics as they seek to qualify for the Round of 16.
Denmark had more possession with 51 percent of the ball. They also attempted 546 passes with an accuracy of 87 percent. Meanwhile, England had 49 percent possession, attempting 528 passes with an accuracy of 86 percent.
To the surprise of many fans, the Danes outclassed the Three Lions up front as well, landing 16 shots in total with seven being on target. In contrast, the latter mustered just 12 shots with four being on target.
