Manchester United full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka is reportedly close to securing a move to West Ham United this summer. The English defender moved to Old Trafford in 2019 from Crystal Palace and now looks set to return to London with the Hammers.
The 26-year-old defender has made 190 appearances for United, scoring two goals and providing 13 assists. His output has helped the club achieve FA Cup and League Cup glory during his time with them.
According to Jack Rosser, the Red Devils are set to agree a deal for more than £10 million with the Hammers. He joined United for a reported £50 million and has now entered the final year of his contract.
Manchester United remain keen on reinforcing their defense this window, with Leny Yoro having already joined the club. According to reports, they are set to sign Moroccan full-back Noussair Mazraoui from Bayern Munich if they can offload Wan-Bissaka.
Erik ten Hag will be expected to improve on his poor league campaign last season and return the three-time UEFA Champions League winners to their former glory this season.
Manchester United youngster keen to remain at the club for the rest of his career
Manchester United winger Amad Diallo has shared his desire to remain at the club for the rest of his career. The youngster has gone on loan to Rangers and Sunderland since he signed for the Red Devils from Atalanta in January 2021.
The 22-year-old has one year left on his current deal with the club, but is optimistic about staying on past next summer. He said in a recent press conference (via FotMob):
"I'm very happy here, I think everyone is happy with me because I smile with everyone, good energy. Why not stay here all my life? It was not easy for me to get an injury in pre-season last season. I was out a long time but the most important thing was to come back stronger, to help the team and in the end I was happy with my contribution. I forgot the past and now I'm thinking about the present."
Diallo added:
"I think everyone wants to play, that's why in the training you need to put everything in to fight and start. We have a good team, good players - Antony, Jadon Sancho, Alejandro Garnacho, Marcus Rashford - so the final [decision] is the manager who can decide who is on the pitch and who is on the bench. Everyone is important in the team."
Manchester United will be keen to get the best out of the 22-year-old winger this season. The talented Ivory Coast International has played 21 games for United, scoring three times and providing two assists.
