Chelsea fans lauded João Felix following their 5-0 FA Cup win over Morecambe in the FA Cup Third Round on Saturday, January 11. Felix was brilliant in attack and scored a brace during the game at Stamford Bridge.
Morecambe's Yann Songo’o handled the ball with his hand in the penalty box in the 16th minute and Chelsea were awarded a penalty. However, goalkeeper Harry Burgoyne saved Christopher Nkunku's spot kick.
Tosin Adarabioyo opened the scoring for the Blues in the 39th minute after being set up by Reece James. In the 50th minute, Nkunku made it 2-0 after placing his shot into the back of the net. In the 70th minute, Tyrique George delivered a pass to Adarabioyo and he scored from range, making the scoreline 3-0.
Five minutes later (75’), Felix placed his shot into the net after receiving a pass from George. In the 77th minute, Felix scored from towards the edge of the box, after being set up by Marc Cucurella. Thus, the game ended 5-0 in favor of the Blues.
Felix had a passing accuracy of 84% (42/50) and registered three shots on target and provided one key pass. The Portugal international was successful in both of his dribble attempts and won four out of six ground duels contested (via Sofascore).

How did Chelsea forward Christopher Nkunku perform against Morecambe?
Despite missing a penalty in the 17th minute, Nkunku was able to redeem himself by scoring Chelsea's second goal of the game.
In his stint on the pitch, Nkunku had a passing accuracy of 96% (53/55). He provided two key passes and registered two shots on target. The Frenchman won three out of three aerial duels contested and registered 68 touches on the pitch (via Sofascore).
Chelsea will return to Premier League action against Bournemouth on Tuesday, January 14. They sit fourth in the standings, 10 points behind leaders Liverpool, who have a game in hand.
