Former Tottenham Hotspur attacker Rafael van der Vaart has included Cristiano Ronaldo in his dream 5-a-side team, which comprises three other former Real Madrid players.
Ronaldo, 39, is widely regarded as one of the best players and most lethal goalscorers in the sport's history, having netted a record 915 times for club and country. The Portugal captain - now at Al-Nassr - is a bonafide Los Blancos legend, scoring a record 450 times in nine seasons.
Van der Vaart - who played a lone season with Ronaldo at Madrid (2009-10) - has also named Los Blancos legends Guti and Sergio Ramos, and Wesley Sneijder in his five-a-side team.
The team (as per Madrid Xtra) comrpises his compatriot Edwin van der Sar at goal, Ramos in defence, Sneijder and Guti in midfield, and Ronaldo up front.
In two seasons at the Santiago Bernabeu since arriving from Hamburg in the summer of 2008, Van der Vaart scored 12 times in 73 appearances across competitions for Los Blancos. His lone title at the capital club was the 2008 Supercopa Espana.
In his lone season (2009-10) with Ronaldo at the Bernabeu, Real Madrid endured a trophyless campaign, finishing second in La Liga - behind Barcelona. They lost in the Round of 32 in the Copa del Rey and the Round of 16 in the UEFA Champions League before Van der Vaart moved to Tottenham.
