Real Madrid stance on Barcelona
Real Madrid stance on Barcelona's struggle to register Dani Olmo

According to a Spanish report, Real Madrid believes Barcelona should be allowed to register Dani Olmo. The Catalan side has been mired in financial issues that have seen them unable to register players effectively with LaLiga.

Olmo joined Blaugrana in the summer from RB Leipzig for a reported €55 million fee. He has played 813 minutes for the side across 15 games, bagging six goals and one assist. The Euro 2024 winner's registration has been an issue since his arrival, and the midfielder is reportedly available on a free transfer this January if his registration issues are not settled.

Barcelona and Real Madrid have maintained a rivalry that goes back generations in Spain, but they have found common ground on the midfielder's registration.

If Olmo remains at the club in this transfer window, he will be contracted to the 2022-23 LaLiga champions until the summer of 2030.

Real Madrid and Barcelona are set to battle for young strikers - Reports

According to a report by Relevo, Real Madrid and Barcelona are set to battle for the signature of Eldense striker Alan Godoy. The 21-year-old has been impressive for the side and has attracted the attention of two of the biggest teams in Spain and European football.

Godoy joined his current side on a free transfer from Alaves in the summer of 2024. He has played 13 games and has yet to score a goal or assist, but he is impressed with his style of play. He is currently contracted to Eldense until the summer of 2027.

Real Madrid are keen to bring the striker into their Castilla side and have Raul Gonzalez shape him into a future asset for the club. He has also attracted the interest of Barcelona, which is looking to bring him into their team like they did Pau Victor.

Godoy will have a tough decision on his hands, but the talented striker will be pleased to have attracted the interest of the European giants so early in his career.
