Real Madrid are keen to sign a defender in the summer transfer window due to various reasons. Nacho Fernandez left the Santiago Bernabeu outfit on a free transfer, while David Alaba and Eder Militao are struggling with injury concerns.
Last season, the 22-year-old made 37 appearances for Bologna across all competitions, scoring two goals and assisting five. He helped them finish fifth in Serie A and qualify for the UEFA Champions League.
He also started all three group-stage matches for Italy in the 2024 Euro. However, he will miss the Round of 16 match against Switzerland due to a yellow card suspension. Other than the Bologna defender, the La Liga giants also have LOSC Lille's Leny Yoro on their transfer radar.
