Tottenham Hotspur striker Richarlison has posted a video of himself performing Cristiano Ronaldo's popular 'Siuuu' celebration in an underwear. The clip, which has gone viral on social media, shows the Brazil international taking his shirt off and recreating the move.
Towards the end of the video, Richarlison's Spurs teammate Yves Bissouma turned on the front camera and could be seen laughing his heart out. Sharing the video on his Instagram account, the former Everton attacker wrote:
"Siiiiiiiii pombo is back."
Reacting to this post, one fan wrote in the comments, along with a laughing emoji:
"Cristiano Richarlison."
Another added:
"The man is back, safe!"
The 27-year-old is currently on national duty with Brazil at Copa America. His team didn't get off to the best start in this year's tournament, playing out a 0-0 draw with Costa Rica in their opener on Monday (June 24). They next face Paraguay on Friday (June 28).
Meanwhile, Ronaldo is with Portugal at the European Championship, with his side having already secured a spot in the round of 16. However, the Al-Nassr striker himself is yet to get on the scoresheet for Roberto Martinez's team.
He will have a chance to get going on the goalscoring front when Portugal take on Georgia in their final group match on Wednesday (June 26).
When Richarlison named Cristiano Ronaldo for his shooting abilities while building his ultimate player
Tottenham Hotspur's Richarlison was tasked with building the ultimate player in an interview with ESPN in January this year. He named Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo for his shooting qualities while snubbing the latter's arch-rival Lionel Messi.
The 39-year-old icon's inclusion in this list did not come as a surprise, considering he is among the top goalscorers in the world even today. The former Manchester United striker has scored 759 senior club career goals and provided 238 assists in 1013 appearances across competitions.
Going into the Euro 2024, Cristiano Ronaldo was in red-hot form after bagging 44 goals and 13 assists in 45 games across competitions for his Saudi Pro League club Al-Nassr. Ronaldo is also a five-time Ballon d'Or winner and has laid his hands on the UEFA Champions League trophy the same number of times.
Richarlison chose Kylian Mbappe for his speed and Toni Kroos for his intelligence, among others.
