"Keep working brother, keep working, you can achieve anything that you desire."
Lamine Yamal, 17, was a standout performer at Euro 2024, posting four assists and one goal in seven games. He set Williams up for the opener against England at the Olympastadion.
The Barcelona wonderkid headed into the tournament with his stock sky-high after a stellar season with the Catalans. He registered seven goals and 10 assists in 50 games across competitions.
Rodri, 28, knows all about becoming a world beater. He has been one of the greatest holding midfielders in the Premier League over the past few years. He was equally important for Spain during Euro 2024, appearing in six games as La Roja's midfield anchor.
Rodri and Lamine Yamal picked up awards at Euro 2024
Rodri and Lamine Yamal's superb Euro 2024 campaigns were rewarded with deserved prizes after Spain's win against England. The City midfielder was named the Player of the Tournament, while the Barca youngster picked up the Young Player of the Tournament award.
Any one of De la Fuente's starting XI from the final will have been rightfully in the running for the awards. Dani Olmo, 26, Williams, 22, Marc Cucurella, 25, and Alvaro Morata, 31, also impressed in Germany throughout the tournament.
However, Rodri continued to show fans why he's arguably the best defensive midfielder in the world. He controlled midfield against the likes of England and France and hosts Germany.
Yamal's scintillating performances at such a young age were astounding and he produced one of the goals of the tournament. The Barca attacker struck a stunner in Spain's 2-1 win against France in the semifinals.
The duo will now rest ahead of pre-season with their clubs but will be buoyed by their outings at Euro 2024. De la Fuente's squad's present and future are bright, and these two are key.
