Al-Nassr fans have blasted Cristiano Ronaldo's teammates Anderson Talisca and Sadio Mane on X after they failed to make an impact during their 2-1 loss against Al-Sadd. The two sides faced each other in the AFC Champions League at Al-Awwal Park on Monday, December 2.
Manager Stefano Pioli opted to rest Cristiano Ronaldo for the clash. However, Al-Nassr struggled going forward in his absence, failing to make the most of their chances in the first half.
The visitors took the lead in the 53rd minute via Akram Afif's effort following a counter-attack. Romain Saiss' own goal (80') gave Al-Nassr some hope; however, Adam Ounas netted a late penalty in the ninth minute of stoppage time to hand Al-Sadd a memorable win.
Fans were livid with Talisca and Mane after the game. Even though both wingers struck the woodwork once, they struggled to inspire the hosts in Cristiano Ronaldo's absence. Mane landed one shot on target from an attempted three, missing two big chances in the process, and lost eight duels. Meanwhile, Talisca also landed one shot on target from three attempts and missed one big chance.
One Al-Nassr fan posted:
"Talisca and Mane should be competing at the Paralympics."
Another fan tweeted:
"This is not the mane we all know this guy is done."

How have Anderson Talisca and Sadio Mane fared for Al-Nassr this season compared to Cristiano Ronaldo?
Al-Nassr suffered a 2-1 home defeat in the AFC Champions League against Al-Sadd in Cristiano Ronaldo's absence. Both Anderson Talisca and Sadio Mane have been heavily criticized this season for their drop in form, so let's take a look at how they have performed compared to Ronaldo.
Mane has failed to recapture his form from last season. The former Liverpool star has scored five goals and provided five assists in 22 appearances across all competitions. In contrast, Talisca has been criticized for his lack of creativity going forward. The Brazilian has garnered eight goals and zero assists in 19 appearances across competitions.
On the other hand, Cristiano Ronaldo has been sensational for Al-Nassr. The 39-year-old has accumulated 15 goals and three assists in 18 appearances in total. The Knights of Najd are currently third in Group B of the AFC Champions League with 13 points from six games, three points behind leaders Al-Ahli.
