Fans were left unimpressed with the performances of Diogo Dalot and Lisandro Martínez in Manchester United's Premier League clash against Nottingham Forest. The match ended in a 2-3 loss for the Red Devils on Saturday, December 7, at Old Trafford.
Nottingham Forest opened the scoring just two minutes into the clash with Nikola Milenkovic's header from a corner-kick by Elliot Anderson. Rasmus Hojlund netted the equalizer for the hosts with a left-footed shot in the 18th minute.
Morgan Gibbs-White put Nottingham Forest back in the lead via an assist by Callum Hudson-Odoi in the 47th minute. Chris Wood then netted the third goal for the visitors with a header from a Gibbs-White cross in the 54th minute.
Bruno Fernandes gave Manchester United hope with a neat finish in the 61st minute via an assist by Amad Diallo following a quick break.
Diogo Dalot produced one key pass in the match while having one shot on target from three attempts. Lisandro Martínez, meanwhile, made one clearance and lost four out of six duels.

Ruben Amorim on Manchester United's 2-3 loss against Nottingham Forest
Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim shared his thoughts on the defeat against Nottingham Forest in their 15th Premier League clash of the season. The Portuguese tactician rued the early goal his side conceded but lauded is players' efforts to get back into the match.
"It was a really tough game. We started really badly. The first play, we suffered a goal," Amorim said. "They scored in difficult moments for us so it was difficult to pass on to the players the job we have to do. We controlled the game and created some chances and then we tried to work something for the second half."
He added:
"When we suffer two goals like that, it's really hard in this context to help the players, to put some calm into the players. They try it until the end, with not a lot quality, more heart than quality, but we couldn't do it, [get] another goal to gain at least a point."
Manchester United had 72% of the ball, taking 17 shots with seven on target. Nottingham Forest had just 11 shots but were clinical, with all three attempts on target finding the back of the net.
