Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr defeated Al-Taawoun by a scoreline of 2-0 to advance to the finals of the Saudi Super Cup on Wednesday, August 14. It was also the first game that Cristiano Ronaldo played after his long hiatus post-Euro 2024. The Portuguese scored within 57 minutes of being back.
Despite a convincing win, Sadio Mane's performance was worrying for Al-Nassr fans. Although the Senegalese forward was able to get himself in attacking positions, he was too wasteful and squandered several chances.
Thankfully, Ayman Yahya (8') and Cristiano Ronaldo were there to save Al-Nassr as the canary yellow outfit scored in both halves of the game. Fans have been very critical of Sadio Mane and have voiced their opinions on X (formerly Twitter). Some of the reactions are as follows:

Cristiano Ronaldo wants Manchester United forward to join him at Al-Nassr: Reports
According to a report by El Nacional, Cristiano desires Manchester United's Antony to join his club in the summer transfer window. Sadio Mane and Talisca have been in worrying form since the last season. Hence, the Knights of Najd would want to bolster their attacking lineup to provide support to Cristiano Ronaldo.
However, Antony's contract expires in 2027 and Manchester United would probably charge a hefty transfer fee for the Brazilian forward. Ronaldo played with Antony in seven games in 2022-23 season before his contract was mutually terminated by the English club.
Meanwhile, Sadio Mane has already been linked to league rivals Al-Ittihad, with Al-Nassr offering him to the club. However, Al-Iithad reportedly want Al-Nassr to pay a big percentage of Mane's salary if they are to take him for the next season.
