Lamine Yamal has posted a cryptic message on Instagram after Adrien Rabiot spoke about the Spain star ahead of their clash with France at EURO 2024. The Barcelona youngster wants to respond on the pitch when they lock horns on Tuesday (July 9).

Taking on Instagram, the youngster posted a story. It read:

"Move in silence. Only speak when it's time to say checkmate."

The story came after Rabiot tried to put pressure on the 16-year-old ahead of the EURO 2024 semifinal. He admitted that the Barcelona star is talented but the pressure is going to be something he has not experienced so far. He said via GOAL:

"We saw that he was a player who knew how to handle pressure very well. He has a lot of qualities. He is capable of playing with his qualities at club level as well as in major tournaments, without pressure.
"Afterwards, it is always complicated to manage a semi-final in a tournament like that, but it will be up to us to put the pressure on him above all, not to let him feel comfortable and to show him that to play in a Euro final, he will have to do much more than what he has done so far."

Spain and France have not been at their best this summer but have managed to make it to the EURO 2024 semifinal. They are fighting to face England or the Netherlands in the final on Sunday (July 14).

France star heaps praise on Spain's Lamine Yamal ahead of EURO 2024 semifinal

Jules Kounde has heaped praise on Lamine Yamal and sent a warning to his France teammates about the Spanish youngster. He claimed that the teenager is a danger and the biggest one from their semifinal opponent, saying (via Barca Blaugranes):

“Lamine is a big part of the danger of the Spanish national team, but I would say that the biggest danger is the team as a whole. He is incredible. I think to have had a season like his at such a young age and with all the expectations and pressure that he has, it’s really incredible.”

France and Spain clash at the Allianz Arena on Tuesday. The last time they met was in UEFA Nations League, back in October 2021, when the French side won 2-1.
