"Are we gonna talk about “Ballon d’Or Raphinha” or what? He gave away the ball which led to Atleti’s goal but nobody cares because he has the standards of a 2nd division player"
Another added:
"He didn't do anything Raphinha was the reason y we lost the match"
"Stop scapegoating Lewandowski, Raphinha is the real Culprit today."
"Raphinha missed a big chance but you won’t hear it cause his name isn’t Lewandowski.."
"The reason Raphinha can never win my heart is what y’all just witnessed. Very rash in his decisions, nobody is marking him, keep the ball (our DNA), he can just play a rubbish pass without any care for consequence. He can be our top player on form but I’ll never like him," posted another.
"Raphinha you missed all those chances?? I knew"
While another wrote:
"Raphinha was absolutely shit today too"
Raphinha has been in great form this season, making goal contributions in almost every other match for Barcelona. However, the 28-year-old blanked in the last three LaLiga matches for the Catalan club. In this ongoing campaign, he has registered 17 goals and 10 assists in 25 appearances across competitions for the Blaugrana.
Hansi Flick on Barcelona's 2-1 loss against Atletico in LaLiga
Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick shared his thoughts on his squad's performance against Atlético Madrid in LaLiga. Even though he mentioned disheartening by the loss, the German manager backed his team.
While speaking in the post-match conference, Flick said (via @fcbarcelona_br on X):
"We played a brilliant game. This is the style I want to see from my team. I am very proud. It is disappointing to leave empty-handed."
Speaking about his recent victories this season, Hansi Flick added (via the club's official website):
"That's how we want to play. We have to take this into next year and get better results. We will work and train hard. If we don't create chances then that is a problem but today we did create them. They defended well but we had chances that we would normally take. We have to learn from game like today but I have nothing bad to say about how we played."
Barcelona maintained a ball possession of 63% against Atlético Madrid with seven shots on target.
