Serie A leaders Napoli have become the latest side to be linked with a move for Manchester United forward Alejandro Garnacho, as per journalist Michele Criscitiello. The Italian club are keen to strengthen their attack this month following the decision of star forward Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to leave the side.

Napoli manager Antonio Conte has informed the club of his choice to replace Kvaratskhelia with Argentine youngster Garnacho this month. The Partenopei are resigned to losing 2023 Serie A MVP Kvaratskhelia, after the Georgia international announced his desire to leave the club.

Giovanni Manna, sporting director of the Serie A side, has already begun the process of finding out what a deal for 20-year-old forward Garnacho will cost. The Italian side are not alone in their interest in Garnacho, as Atletico Madrid reportedly lodged a bid to sign the youngster in December.

One of the gems at Manchester United, Alejandro Garnacho has contributed eight goals and four assists in 29 appearances across all competitions this season. The youngster won the Premier League's goal of the season in the 2023-24 season with a goal that was deemed worthy to win the 2024 Puskas award.

Napoli have found business with Manchester United profitable, having signed Scott McTominay from them in the summer, and are keen on another player. The Italian side are in need of urgent attacking reinforcement as they continue to negotiate the sale of Kvaratskhelia, and Garnacho appears to fit their bill.

Manchester United have been reported to be open to selling the Argentina international this month to fund new signings for coach Ruben Amorim. Napoli will look to test the waters by making an offer for the talented forward in the coming days.

Manchester United star left out of squad for FA Cup clash - Reports

Manchester United outcast Marcus Rashford has once again been left out of his side's squad to face Arsenal in the FA Cup third round, as per Daily Mail. The 27-year-old attacker has not featured for the club since the middle of December in a Europa League game against Viktoria Plzen.

The report revealed that Rashford was not among the Red Devils' traveling party to face the Gunners at the Emirates. This marks a seventh successive game in which the England international has seen no action for the club.

Rashford is considering a move elsewhere to continue his career, and his agent has met with a number of clubs over a possible transfer. AC Milan, Juventus, Barcelona, and a host of other sides have been linked with the forward this month.
