Manchester United full-back Diogo Dalot has waxed lyrical of summer arrival Noussair Mazraoui ahead of the UEFA Europa League trip to Fenerbahce on Thursday (October 24). The 26-year-old arrived at Old Trafford from Bayern Munich and has hit the ground running.

Mazraoui has registered an assist in 11 games across competitions, starting nine times. The lone goal contribution has come in eight outings in the Premier League, where the Red Devils are 11th following a 2-1 home win over Brentford at the weekend.

Before Erik ten Hag's side travel to Turkey for their third UEFA Europa League game of their campaign, Dalot said about Mazraoui (via mufcMPB):

“Really good. He’s showed that he’s a really good player. It’s no coincidence that he played in one of the biggest clubs in the world, so, for him to be here, I think it’s a privilege for us, as players. That’s why the club bought him; that’s why the club wanted him here.
"We just have to take advantage of his qualities. When he’s on the pitch I think he’s a really good player that can bring us a lot of different things. As long as he still continues helping the team, I think he will be really good for us.”

The Red Devils are coming off draws in their opening two European games of the season - a 1-1 home draw with Ten Hag's former side FC Twente followed by a 3-3 stalemate at FC Porto.

Noussair Mazraoui reunited with his former Ajax boss Erik ten Hag at Manchester United this summer after a two-season spell at Bayern Munich. The Morrocan arrived at Old Trafford along with his former Ajax teammate Matthijs de Ligt.

Explaining his move to the Premier League, the Morocco international highlighted the comfort factor and the need for a new challenge (as per The Athletic's Laurie Whitwell via MiaSanMia):

“Two seasons playing at Bayern, I needed another step, based on a lot of reasons. I felt OK there, but I had a feeling I could feel more comfortable somewhere else. Manchester United came in. I don’t think I have to explain why I go to such a club.”

In two seasons in Bavaria, the Manchester United man bagged a goal and eight assists in 55 games across competitions, winning a Bundesliga title and the German Super Cup.
