Chris Sutton tips Arsenal to beat Nottingham Forest

BBC pundit Chris Sutton has tipped Arsenal to beat Nottingham Forest when the sides clash at the Emirates in the Premier League on Saturday, November 23. The Gunners have been in poor form in the league recently, failing to win in their last four games and sitting equal on points with their next opponents.

The former England striker wrote in his column for BBC:

"Arsenal cannot keep on dropping points and I would be a little worried about them if Declan Rice is not fit enough to feature here. But at least Martin Odegaard is coming back to full fitness after his injury, and I feel like he will be the difference. Gunners fans will be hoping that he can lift the team, and help them look more dangerous in open play."

He continued, pointing out that the north London side just needed one player to get back in the groove, writing:

"Sometimes it is only when a player is missing that you realise how important they are to a side, and that has definitely been the case with Odegaard, because Arsenal have not been the same without him in the final third.
"Odegaard is their one player who is on a different level when he is on the ball, and almost plays a different game. He has that incredible awareness and understanding that allows him to knit everything together, and Arsenal will need that against Forest."

Sutton concluded:

"Nuno Espirito Santo's side will be stubborn and difficult to break down, we know that. They have already beaten Liverpool at Anfield this season, but I think Arsenal will find a way to win."

Prediction: 2-0

The Gunners will be keen to get back in form following their struggles in the division. After 11 games, they currently sit fourth, nine points off the top of the table, Liverpool.

"Bringing the club together, 100%. Lifting the spirit, giving a very clear DNA to the football club, and pride," - Mikel Arteta discusses most significant achievements ahead of 250th Arsenal game

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta discussed his most significant achievements before taking charge of his 250th game on Saturday. The Spaniard took charge of the club in 2019 and has helped the club go from top four contenders to legitimate challengers for the league title.

The Spaniard has guided the team to two title charges in the previous seasons and won an FA Cup. In a recent press conference, he discussed his upcoming milestone in charge of the club, saying via Football.London:

"Bringing the club together, 100%. Lifting the spirit, giving a very clear DNA to the football club, and pride. To representing this shirt, from the players to everyone involved in the club, in the way that is expected at this level."

The north London side will be keen to end their two-decade wait to lift the Premier League title this season. However, they will need to start by winning Arteta's 250th game in charge to close the gap between them and the top of the table.
