Real Madrid fans on social media have lauded Eduardo Camavinga for his display against Braga in the UEFA Champions League.

Los Blancos visited the Estádio Municipal de Braga in Portugal on Matchday 3 of the 2023-24 Champions League on Tuesday, October 24. Rodrygo handed them a 16th-minute lead before Jude Bellingham made it 2-0 with his 11th goal in 12 games since joining the club a minute after the hour-mark.

Braga pulled one back almost immediately after Bellingham's strike as Alvaro Djalo netted in the 63rd minute. However, the hosts couldn't find an equalizer as the visitors made it three wins out of three to remain atop Group C.

While he didn't score or assist a goal, Camavinga received plenty of praise from the Real Madrid faithful on X (formerly Twitter). He played all 90 minutes as their holding midfielder, shielding a backline of Fran Garcia, Nacho Fernandez, Antonio Rudiger, and Dani Carvajal.

The Frenchman misplaced just two of his 63 pass attempts (97% accuracy) while winning 13 duels and five tackles — both game-high figures. He also won four fouls, recorded three clearances, blocked two shots, made an interception, and recorded a shot on target in a superb all-round display.
