Lionel Messi shared his thoughts after his wife Antonela Roccuzzo signed a deal with Adidas. Messi holds a lifetime contract with the German sporting wear brand, reportedly worth $1 billion (£788m), as per GOAL.
On December 2, Lionel Messi and Antonela Roccuzzo took to Instagram to share images of their latest photoshoot for Adidas. The images featured the couple sporting Adidas's co-ord sets. Roccuzzo was dressed in a beige co-ord set, while Messi wore a red tracksuit.
The shoot marked Roccuzzo's new deal with Adidas, while Messi has been working with the German brand since 2006. He notably signed a lifetime contract with them in 2017. The Argentine legend also has his signature line with Adidas, while his wife is set to promote their training and lifestyle ranges.
Speaking about Roccuzzo's partnership with Adidas, Messi shared his thoughts on the deal, saying (via All About Argentina on X):
"I grew up with Antonella and I also grew up with Adidas, so it's great that these two parts of my life now come together."
For those uninformed, Antonela Roccuzzo and Lionel Messi have known each other since childhood. The two reportedly met for the first time in Argentina as Roccuzzo is believed to have been a cousin of one of Messi's childhood friends. The couple tied the knot in 2017 and share three children, Thiago, Mateo, and Ciro Messi.

Messi has reportedly been dating Roccuzzo since the early 2000s, although the Argentine made their relationship public in 2009. According to SPORT, Roccuzzo moved in with Messi in Barcelona in 2010. The couple moved to Paris alongside their three sons in 2021 when Messi left Barcelona to join Paris Saint-Germain. The family currently resides in Miami after La Pulga joined the MLS side Inter Miami in 2023.
Roccuzzo has often been spotted during Messi's matches in Miami and Argentina alongside her three sons. She was captured during the 2024 Copa America games and Messi's historic 2022 FIFA World Cup win in Qatar.
