Fans on social media have lauded teenage sensation Arda Guler despite Real Madrid's 3-3 draw against Rayo Vallecano in LaLiga on Saturday, December 14. Guler was brilliant in attack and registered two assists during the game.

Inigo Perez's men were the first to break the deadlock through Unai Lopez in the fourth minute, assisted by Jorge de Frutos. Abdul Mumin made it 2-0 for Vallecano after receiving a pass from Isi Palazon in the 36th minute.

Three minutes later (39'), Guler set up Federico Valverde who gave Real Madrid a much-needed lifeline with a brilliant strike. In the 45th minute, Jude Bellingham equalized following a pass from Rodrygo, making it 2-2 going into the break.

Eleven minutes into the second half (56’), Rodrygo made it 3-2 following a clean pass from Guler. However, Palazon made it 3-3 in the 64th minute following a pass from Florian Lejeune.

In 79 minutes on the pitch, Guler had a passing accuracy of 84% (32/38). He provided two key passes and won five out of six ground duels contested.

Arda Guler is set to stay at the Bernabeu despite rumors linking him to several clubs across Europe. This is according to famed journalist Fabrizio Romano (via Transfer News Live on X).

Guler joined Real Madrid from Fenerbahce for a reported €20 million in July 2023. However, he has mostly featured as a substitute and has found it hard to break into the starting XI. This has raised questions regarding his usefulness at the Bernabeu this season. Meanwhile, some supporters are of the opinion that his talent has not been properly utilized by Carlo Ancelotti.

The likes of Bayer Leverkusen and Arsenal see this as an opportunity to sign the teenager on loan in the upcoming January transfer window. However, Guler is reportedly loving his time at Madrid and will most likely remain at the club for the forseeable future.
