Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior could reportedly be available for their next two games in the Copa Del Rey and the Spanish Super Cup. Certain details of his red card sanction have emerged recently.

The Brazilian was sent off in Real Madrid's 2-1 win over Valencia on Friday for a foul on goalkeeper Stole Dimitrievski after the referee reviewed the incident on the pitchside monitor.

Vinicius' red card comes at a criticial juncture in their campaign as Los Blancos are set to play two cup games in their next two outings. The Spanish champions are away to Deportivo Minera on Monday for the last 32 of Copa Del Rey, followed by a clash against Mallorca in the Super Cup semi-finals in Saudi Arabia.

The forward's participation was in doubt, and his absence could've been a big blow for the Whites. But it's now being reported that Vinicius might be cleared to play both as his suspension could only apply in league matches. That means he could miss the Las Palmas and Real Valladolid fixtures in La Liga if slapped with a two-game ban.

According to Spanish radio channel El Partidazo de COPE, the Competition Committee will meet on Tuesday to discuss the extent of his sanction.

Vinicius has been a key player for Real Madrid once again this season, having recorded 14 goals in 22 matches, including two sensational hat-tricks. He's forged a deadly alliance with Kylian Mbappe and Jude Bellingham, and the trio are now leading their title charge on multiple fronts.

Real Madrid could rest Vinicius for Copa clash with Super Cup campaign in mind

Despite his availability, Vinicius Junior could be rested by Real Madrid in their game against fourth-tier Deportivo Minera. That's because they will be flying to Saudi Arabia just four days later for their Spanish Super Cup campaign.

Although Mallorca aren't the most formidable side, Carlo Ancelotti will be taking no chances and should field a strong XI in Riyadh. A clash with either Barcelona or Athletic Bilbao will await them in the finals, if they progress.

To keep his first-team stars fresh for the Super Cup, the Italian could rest many of them on Monday, including Vinicius. But there's a chance he may come off the bench if they need him.
