Cristiano Ronaldo's reaction to Al-Hilal's goals against Al-Nassr in their 4-1 loss in the Saudi Super Cup on Saturday (August 17) has gone viral online. They suffered a heavy defeat despite the veteran giving them a 1-0 lead.
The video circulating on social media features the Portuguese talisman supposedly asking his teammates if they're sleeping through various hand gestures. It came after they conceded four goals within a span of 17 minutes. Watch it here:
Video clips from the match also featured Ronaldo's reaction after Al-Nassr conceded their third goal of the night. It seemed like the captain was trying to say something along the lines of 'it's over' with a clearly disappointed look.
Minutes before half-time, Cristiano Ronaldo gave his club the lead by finding the net in the 44th minute and scoring their only goal in the match. However, Al-Hilal turned things around by scoring four goals within 17 minutes. Sergej Milinkovic-Savic (55'), Aleksander Mitrovic (63' and 69'), and Malcom (72') scored to help their side win the Saudi Super Cup.

After a goalless second half was nearing its end, Cristiano Ronaldo stepped up to give Al-Nassr the lead one minute before halftime. In the 44th minute, he ran into the penalty box at the right time, spotting an approaching Abdulrahman Ghareeb on the left side.
With multiple defenders around, the Portuguese talisman capitalized on a brilliant pass from Ghareeb from the left side of the penalty box. He deposited the ball in the net, making the score 1-0 for Al-Nassr.
Following his goal against Al-Hilal, Cristiano Ronaldo is now only three goals away from hitting 900 career goals overall. However, things didn't turn out as planned for him after Al-Hilal made a massive comeback in the second half.
Mitrovic's assist led Milinkovic-Savic to score the equalized against Cristiano Ronaldo's side in the 55th minute. Seven minutes later, a perfect cross from Ruben Neves set up Mitrovic's goal in the 62nd minute, giving Al-Hilal the lead with 2-1.
Malcolm assisted Mitrovic's second goal of the night within the next six minutes, dashing all hopes for Al-Nassr to make a comeback. The victory was sealed in the 72nd minute with Malcolm scoring the final goal of the night after capitalizing on a great assist by Aymeric Laporte. Al-Hilal lifted their first trophy of the season as a result.
