Christian Pulisic scored an exquisite goal as USMNT began their Copa America 2024 campaign with a 2-0 win against Bolivia on Sunday, June 23. Gregg Berhalter's team got off to a winning start on home soil and their superstar attacker, Pulisic, opened the scoring in the third minute. The AC Milan star launched a curling effort from the edge of the penalty area to put USMNT ahead.
Former Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun also found the back of the net right ahead of half-time (44'), helping the Copa America 2024 hosts seal an impressive 2-0 win against Bolivia.

The USMNT are grouped with Uruguay, Panama and Bolivia in Group C. Uruguay defeated Panama 3-1 in the other group game and are currently leading the standings.
USMNT, meanwhile, are looking to put together a good campaign at Copa America 2024. They reached the Round of 16 of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar before losing to The Netherlands in the first knockout stage.

Christian Pulisic bagged a goal and provided an assist during the win against Bolivia. Gregg Berhalter was full of praise for the superstar attacker after his display.
Berhalter hailed Pulisic's selflessness and lauded his leadership skills. Speaking to the media after the Copa America 2024 win, Berhalter said (via GOAL):
"He's a selfless leader. He goes out and competes and works, works really hard and that helps the team and then you add to the fact that he's highly skilled and can make plays on the offensive ends and create chances on the offensive end."
Berhalter further hailed Pulisic's spectacular performance. The former Chelsea attacker has now made 69 appearances for the USMNT. He has scored 30 goals and has provided 18 assists in international football so far.
