Arsenal and Liverpool have been handed a major boost in their pursuit of Egyptian forward Omar Marmoush. The 25-year-old has been in exceptional form for Eintracht Frankfurt this season, which has attracted interest from some of the biggest clubs in Europe.

Marmoush has been one of the best players in the Bundesliga this season, having scored 11 goals and provided seven assists in 11 league appearances. The technically gifted forward has been heavily linked with a move away from Deutsche Bank Park, with Liverpool and Arsenal named as admirers.

Amid interest in their biggest asset, Eintracht Frankfurt sporting director Markus Krosche has admitted that they could sell Marmoush for the right price. However, he insisted that they would like to retain the Egyptian forward beyond January. Krosche told Fussball News, as quoted by TBR Football:

“Like other clubs, we have to generate transfer income. And if a club comes along and pays what we want, we are always open to selling a player."

The Eintracht Frankfurt sporting director added:

“But, right now, we want to play successful football. Our goal is to keep the team together until the summer.”

Marmoush joined Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer of 2023 on a free transfer after his deal at VfL Wolfsburg expired. He enjoyed a pretty impressive debut season, scoring 17 goals and providing six assists in 41 games across competitions.

However, the forward has been on another level this season with 14 goals and 10 assists in 16 appearances across competitions. According to reports, Eintracht Frankfurt could sell the Arsenal and Liverpool target for £50 million.

Arsenal keen on player Liverpool want as Mohamed Salah replacement: Reports

Arsenal have reportedly set their sights on a move for West Ham United forward Mohammed Kudus in the summer of 2025. As claimed by Spanish outlet Fichajes.net, the Gunners are ready to battle Liverpool for the Ghana international's signature.

Liverpool reportedly see the former Ajax star as the long-term successor to Mohamed Salah. With Salah's current deal at Anfield expiring in 2025, the Reds could go all-out for Kudus if they lose their biggest attacking threat.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are also long-term admirers of the versatile attacker who enjoyed a stellar debut season at West Ham. Following his reported £38 million switch from Ajax in 2023, he contributed 14 goals and six assists in 45 games.

With West Ham struggling this season under new manager Julen Lopetegui, Kudus hasn't been at his best either. The Ghanaian, reportedly valued at £83 million by his employers, has only scored twice and provided one assist in 10 games this season.
