Cristiano Ronaldo has opened up about the best moment in his Al-Nassr career so far. The legendary Portuguese striker moved to Saudi Arabia two years ago, where he has already broken a series of records.

He crossed the 900 career-goal mark while at the club, still playing for Portugal as the national team captain at the age of 39. Last season, he scored the most goals in a single Saudi Pro League season, racking up 35 goals in just 31 games, while providing 11 assists.

He has continued this remarkable run of form this season, scoring 10 goals and providing two assists in 12 league games. When asked about his best moment at Al-Nassr during an interview with the Saudi Pro League, Cristiano Ronaldo said (via Al Nassr Zone on X):

“When we won the Arab Championship against Al Hilal, we were playing with only 10 players.”

Notably, in his first season at the club, Cristiano Ronaldo won the Arab Club Champions Cup. On August 12, 2023, the Knights of Najd beat Al-Hilal 2-1 at the King Fahd Stadium, where the legendary Portuguese goalscorer scored a brace to seal the win.

Al-Nassr superstar Cristiano Ronaldo shares delight about growth of football in Saudi Arabia

Cristiano Ronaldo has shared his delight about the growth of football in the Middle Eastern kingdom. He was the first massive superstar to join the Saudi Pro League, back in January 2023, and this notably led to a flurry of European stars moving to Saudi Arabia.

He shared his thoughts on the situation and his hopes for the league's growth in the coming decade (via Saudi Pro League):

“For me, it is an honor that the league is growing and many star players are coming to make the league even better and more competitive.
"To be the first one - let’s say a star - to come here is an honor, but what I’m looking forward to is the next five to 10 years of the league still improving, not only the first teams but also the academies."

The Al-Nassr superstar further added:

“Not just for the future of the Saudi [players] and the league, but for the country and to compete with other leagues - this is my dream. And this is what I will try to help the country and league reach and be there at that level.”

Cristiano Ronaldo and Al-Nassr will return to the pitch on January 9, when they face Al Akhdoud in the Saudi Pro League at Al-Awwal Park.
