Moldovan club Dacia Buiucani have extended a hilarious proposal to Cristiano Ronaldo to join them this year. The Portuguese superstar's contract with Al-Nassr expires at the end of this season and he hasn't signed a new deal yet.

Famous for their banter against top teams in Europe, Dacia Buiucani aimed a dig at Manchester City last year. They shared a picture of their one win in November, comparing it with the Cityzen's zero in the same month.

As per GOAL, the Moldovan club have reached out to CR7 for their latest banter. They offered the five-time Ballon d'Or winner a chance to play in the Moldovan Super Liga.

Dacia Buiucani also offered Cristiano Ronaldo a number of perks to convince him to make the move. One of the benefits proposed was 'a place in the club's administration as an International Brand Ambassador of the academy or a coach for the children's groups.'

They also shared an edited picture of the Portuguese legend in their home jersey, saying he looked great in the kit. While the entire episode was done in good humor, speculation remains ripe regarding the 39-year-old's next move.

It has been suggested that contract talks regarding a new deal at Al-Nassr haven't progressed well. However, Cristiano Ronaldo is unlikely to have too many suitors in Europe, thus a return to the continent this year also remains unlikely. The iconic player recently hinted that he was happy at Al-Nassr and could be in line for an extension.

Cristiano Ronaldo has scored 74 goals and set up 18 more from 83 games across competitions for Al-Nassr to date. The Portuguese superstar arrived at the Riyadh-based club in December 2022 after parting ways with Manchester United.

The Red Devils and Ronaldo had agreed to a mutual termination of his contract following a controversial interview in which the player criticized then-manager Erik ten Hag. CR7 has enjoyed a decent time in Saudi Arabia so far and has paved the way for more superstars to move to the Middle East.

However, Ronaldo has failed to win the Saudi Pro League since joining Al-Nassr. His team are currently fourth on the league table after 13 games, 11 points behind leaders Al-Ittihad (36 points).

CR7 did pick up a trophy after arriving in the Middle East, winning the Arab Club Champions Cup in 2023. This season, he has registered 16 goals and three assists from 19 games for Al-Nassr.
