Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos is currently on duty with the German national team at EURO 2024. Despite it being the last tournament before his retirement, he has been one of the most solid passers of the ball.
One person who has been with him throughout his footballing journey is his wife, Jessica Farber. After a long-term relationship, the pair tied the knot in June 2015.
Farber is a well-known figure in the entertainment industry. She is a recognized TV personality and has dabbled in many roles on the silver screen. Aside from this, she is known for her proficiency as a fitness professional.
In the Real Madrid superstar's documentary titled 'Kroos', she revealed how she met her husband, saying (via Essentially Sports):
"Toni was 18, I was 20. I wouldn’t say it was love at first sight, but he is a wonderful man. Shortly afterwards, we met in Germany and began to be together."
The pair have two sons, Leon and Fin, and a daughter, Amelie. Farber is often seen at Real Madrid and Germany games with their three kids.
She occasionally posts on her Instagram account, on which she has 231,000 followers. Her pictures usually showcase herself and the kids supporting her husband at the stadium. Outside of those pictures, she also showcases posts from the Toni Kroos Foundation, which was set up in 2015 to help children in need.
Toni Kroos on support from his wife after retirement announcement
After he decided to retire from football after the European Championship, Kroos claimed that his wife was fully supportive of the decision this time. He said (via @theMadridZone on X):
"My family? Jess (Jessica) is very supportive. Leon did not like the decision. Ami (Amelie) despite being a big Madridista is very happy (laughs). She wants us to ride horses together, I always said it’s dangerous but now I need to come up with a new excuse."
The German midfielder played his last club game for Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League final win over Borussia Dortmund on June 1.
