Several fans slammed Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr teammate Talisca after the Knights of Najd lost 1-0 to Al-Taawoun on October 29. The King's Cup Round of 16 loss at Al-Awwal Park knocked them out of the competition.
A solitary goal by Waleed Al-Ahmed in the 71st minute was enough to seal the win for the visitors. The 25-year-old center-back rose the highest to head a corner kick into Bento's net.
Al-Nassr's attack, comprising Ronaldo, Talisca, Angelo, and Wesley looked lackluster at best. Talisca was especially wasteful with his finishing and lack of pressing. The Brazilian attempted just one shot in the match and maintained a measly passing accuracy of 76% (13/17).
Additionally, he lost five out of six attempted ground duels and gave the ball away 13 times throughout the game. Talisca was replaced by Abdulrahman Ghareeb in the 65th minute.

Al-Nassr fans online lambasted the Brazilian for his underwhelming display. Some comments slamming Talisca on X are as follows:
"Why did they keep Talisca and sell Telles? That's a big mistake they made! Now suffer like a clown," wrote a fan on X.
"This brother Talisca can neither pass nor control a ball," noted another.
One Al-Nassr faithful slammed the club for benching Abdulrahman Ghareeb and starting Talisca. They wrote:
"I can't believe Talisca gets regular football while Ghareeb rots on the bench. Ronaldo plays as a pure striker when Ghareeb and Mane are on the wings. Simply because THEY CAN CROSS AND PASS."
"39 year striker Ronaldo is creating more chances than attacking midfielder Talisca. The game's gone," opined another.
"Talisca needs to leave i cant take it anymore," said one fan on X.
"Talisca needs to stop playing for this club he brings 0 creativity," another chimed in.
Finally, one fan claimed foul play by Talisca, tweeting:
"At this point, I believe Talisca is Blackmailing whoever is behind Nassr management."
Cristiano Ronaldo misses match-saving penalty in Al-Nassr vs Al-Taawoun
Al-Nassr's talismanic captain Cristiano Ronaldo missed a penalty in the 96th minute that could've saved the game for the Knights of Najd.
The home team threw the kitchen sink at Al-Taawoun's defense in the game's final moments to get the elusive equalizer. A golden opportunity presented itself in the fourth minute of additional time as Mohammed Khalil Maran drew a foul from goalscorer Waleed Al-Ahmed inside the penalty box.
The referee quickly gave a penalty and fans erupted seeing their superstar forward preparing to take it. However, it was not to be for the home side as Cristiano Ronaldo smashed the ball over the crossbar. It was his first missed penalty for the Knights of Najd since joining them in 2023.
The Portuguese also got a chance to equalize via a freekick in the 10th minute of stoppage time. However, his shot hit the Al-Taawoun wall and the chance went begging.
