Fans were unimpressed with Fran Garcia's display in Real Madrid's clash against C.F. Pachuca in the 2024 FIFA Intercontinental Cup. The match ended in a 3-0 win for Los Blancos on December 18, at Lusail Stadium, Qatar.

Kylian Mbappé opened the scoring for the Spanish giants with a left-footed shot from close range after being set up by Vinicius Junior in the 37th minute. After the beginning of the second half, Rodrygo doubled the score with a right-footed shot from an assist by the French national team captain.

Lucas Vázquez won a penalty for Los Blancos after drawing a foul in the penalty area. Vinicius took the score to three by successfully converting the penalty in the 84th minute.

Fran Garcia, who was on the pitch for whole 90 minutes, made five clearences and three total tackles. He lost possession 10 times and committed a foul. The Spanish left-back won 5 (3) ground duels and was not involved in any key pass.
