Fans are unimpressed with Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sánchez's performance in their Premier League clash against Tottenham Hotspur. The Blues pulled off a 4-3 comeback win against Spurs at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday, December 8.

Dominic Solanke opened the scoring for Tottenham just five minutes into the clash with a right-footed shot after being set up by Brennan Johnson. Dejan Kulusevski doubled the score for the hosts from an assist by Pedro Porro in the 11th minute.

Chelsea reduced the arrears through Jadon Sancho's right-footed shot in the 17th minute. The Blues were awarded a penalty after Spurs' Yves Bissouma committed a foul on Moisés Caicedo in the penalty area. Cole Palmer successfully converted the penalty in the 61st minute.

Enzo Fernández helped Chelsea take the lead in the 73rd minute. The visitors were awarded another penalty after Tottenham's Pape Sarr committed a foul on Marc Cucurella. Palmer netted the penalty, making it 4-2 in the 84th minute.

Son Heung-Min scored Spurs' third goal in the 90+6 minute but it was too little too late.

Robert Sánchez made two saves and one error that led to a shot. The Spanish shot-stopper also received a yellow card for time-wasting in 90+8 minutes.

Fans took to social media and shared their disappointment with Sánchez's display in Chelsea's 4-3 win against Tottenham Hotspur.

Enzo Maresca on Chelsea's 4-3 win against Spurs

Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca shared his thoughts following his side's 4-3 victory against Tottenham Hotspur. While speaking in the post-match conference, the Italian manager appreciated the Blues' comeback win in the away game.

"It’s an important win, firstly for the way it arrived, because to come in this stadium against this team and concede two goals, and then continue with the same plan on and off the ball, shows how the players are mentally strong. We are trying to work with the players on an off the pitch, but we’re also trying to work on mentality and togetherness. To come in this stadium and think you are going to win without suffering is impossible," he said.
"For that, probably it’s the perfect win because two goals down, it was the worst picture for us, even if we were in control. We conceded two goals from Cucu, we created chances, we controlled the game, we kept the ball. At half-time we changed something tactically, and second half we deserved to win," added Maresca.

Enzo Maresca's squad maintained a ball possession of 61% against Spurs while having eight shots on target. The Blues are currently second on the Premier League table with 31 points from 15 games, four behind leaders Liverpool, who have a game in hand.
