Neymar’s father has come into the news once again after he insisted that his son Neymar Junior will be staying at Santos until 2014.
The 21-year-old, who plays for Santos as a forward, was linked to a possible move to Barcelona at the end of this season. The Brazilian was also linked to some big names in the Premier League including Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United.
Neymar has a contract with his present club until 2014, but some reports had suggested that the Santos star could be on his way out in summer.

However, Neymar Senior insisted that his son will be staying in Brazil.
“You keep insisting on something that does not exist, we have no offers. Neymar will stay [at Santos] until 2014. He is under contract with Santos until 2014. So at the very least he will stay until then. Every transfer window is the same thing since Neymar was 13 years old, and I keep saying that he won’t leave Santos. It’s almost ten years saying the same thing.”
