Neymar's Praise for Barcelona Worries Real Madrid

Neymar, Real Madrid, Santos and his agent all seem to be playing with the media or making a fool of themselves as the 19 years old boy speculated move to Real Madrid comes in with different twist and tale every other day.

Just a couple of days after Santos announced that the Brazilian youngster would stay with them till the next season, Real Madrid came out with a statement stating that the deal for Neymar’s move to Spain in December has been struck and the youngster would arrive at Bernabeu on December 20.

Just when the people were thinking that the dust has settled down, the boy himself yesterday came out with another statement stating that he is not interest in joining either Real Madrid or their rivals Barcelona. He however praises the Catalan’s who cast a spell of doubt over his Real Madrid move.

“Neither Madrid nor Barcelona interest me right now,” he told Spanish sports papers in Germany on Monday when asked about his reported transfer to Madrid. “I said all I had to say and everyone knows it.”

What worries Real Madrid more than anything is the statement Neymar made in an interview to fifa.com saying that “Barcelona are the best team in the world and they’ve got the world’s best player in their side.”

On being asked if Santos and Barca clashes in the Club World Cup, the young forward said “It will be a very tough task.”

“I don’t think there’s any particular tactics you can use. We’ll just have to pray, ask for God’s help and give it our best shot, “ Neymar added.

He has been linked for a move to Europe since the summer transfer window open after he help Santos win the Copa Libertadores. Clubs like Barcelona, Real Madrid, Chelsea has agreed to shell out his minimum transfer fee while his original club Santos has insisted on keeping him with them till the Club World Cup to be played in December this year.
