One of the greatest ever football ‘journey-man’ is back on the move again. Nicolas Anelka is back in the English Premier League. The Frenchman has already played for the likes of Arsenal, Bolton, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City.
The striker returns to the Premier League this time at West Bromwich Albion, on a 12-month contract following an unhappy year in Chinese football and a short spell in Italy, and Albion have the option of awarding him a further year’s deal next summer.

Anelka, 34, left Chelsea for Shanghai Shenhua in January 2012 but joined Juventus during this year’s January transfer window. West Brom head coach Steve Clarke, worked with Anelka briefly at Stamford Bridge in 2008 and is delighted a player of such pedigree is part of his Albion squad.
