Official 2014 FIFA World Cup Anthem: Dar um Jeito (We Will Find a Way) feat. Avicii and Carlos Santana

Dar um Jeito is the official anthem for the upcoming FIFA 2014 World Cup.

FIFA have released their official World Cup anthem “Dar um Jeito (We Will Find a Way)”, a collaboration by progressive house producer Avicii, 10 times Grammy winner Carlos Santana, a multi-Grammy Award winning American hip-hop artist Wyclef Jean and Brazilian singer Alexandre Pires.

“To write for the official closing anthem of the FIFA World Cup is a huge honour as it’s the biggest event I can remember growing up,” World No. 3 dj Avicii told PR News Wire. “I gave it a ‘Samba meets my dance music’ sound which works perfectly for the positive spirit of the song.”

“It is an honor to take part in the 2014 FIFA World Cup and have ‘Dar um Jeito (We Will Find A Way)’ selected as the anthem,” Santana added. “Along with my brothers, Wyclef, Avicii and Alexandre Pires, we look forward to performing the song in Rio de Janeiro in July and sharing this message of light and hope on the FIFA World Cup stage.”

In Portuguese, Dar Um Jeito roughly translates to finding a way around obstacles and impossibilities, a message that they are trying to send with music and lyrics. The anthem will be performed at the closing ceremony of the tournament on July 13 at the legendary Maracana Stadium in Rio de Janeiro.

The song is the third song released by FIFA over the period of two months now, however is not to be confused with “We Are One” by Pitbull, Jennifer Lopez and Brazilian star Claudia Leitte and Shakira’s “La La La” which are part of the whole 2014 FIFA World Cup Album “One Love, One Rhythm” which is yet to be released.
