Willian completes Chelsea transfer

Chelsea have officially confirmed that the signing of Willian has been completed. The player underwent a medical a few days ago, and he has agreed a five-year contract with Chelsea FC.

Willian has been one of the much talked about players in the last week, especially because of the way he has joined Chelsea.

He will bring more than just Brazilian Samba magic to Stamford Bridge. He will wear the number 22 shirt.

The number 22 shirt has been previously donned by the likes of Eidur Gudjohnsen and Tal Ben Haim. Let’s hope that Willian is not like the latter.

He has not been included in the squad for the UEFA Super Cup 2013 match as Chelsea take on Bayern Munich in a repeat of the 2012 Champions League final.
