The Summer Olympics 2024 is knocking at the door and football fans are preparing for yet another month of footballing extravaganza after the Copa America and the Euro 2024.
Although the Paris Olympics will officially start on July 26, football matches will begin on July 24 itself to accommodate the large number of matches, a tradition that has been going on since the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
This summer, the men’s football event will consist of sixteen teams divided into four groups while the women’s football will consist of a total of twelve sides ready to battle it out.
