Michael Owen has cooled down rumours linking him with a move to Everton.
The 32-year-old striker describes the links as ‘just rumours’ which erupted on Twitter. The former Manchester United striker is a free agent, having being released from the Old Trafford club at the end of last season.
Stoke are also rumoured to be interested in the player.
